International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nexovation

Conflict of Interest Policy

The International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nexovation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, objectivity, and integrity in clinical research publishing. To uphold these standards, all individuals involved in the publication process—authors, reviewers, and editors—are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the content, interpretation, or outcome of the manuscript.

For Authors:

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could potentially affect the objectivity, interpretation, or presentation of their research. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Financial interests: Such as funding sources, grants, employment, stock ownership, royalties, paid expert testimony, or patents related to clinical devices, pharmaceuticals, or procedures discussed in the manuscript.
  2. Personal relationships: That may influence authors’ interpretation or communication of data, outcomes, or recommendations.
  3. Professional affiliations: Including advisory roles, board memberships, or consultancy with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, or government agencies that could pose a bias.

All potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission. A declaration should also be included in the manuscript. If no conflicts exist, authors must state:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."

For Reviewers:

Reviewers must disclose any real or perceived conflicts of interest that may compromise their ability to conduct an unbiased and objective review. These may include:

  1. Financial or personal relationships with the authors.
  2. Collaborations or academic competition that may affect impartial judgment.
  3. Institutional affiliations or involvement with organizations or products featured in the manuscript.

If a reviewer identifies a conflict, they are expected to decline the review and promptly inform the editorial office.

For Editors:

Editors involved in editorial decision-making must also disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect their neutrality. If an editor has financial ties, personal connections, or prior collaborations with the authors or related entities, they must recuse themselves from handling the manuscript. In such cases, the manuscript will be reassigned to another qualified editor without any conflicting interests.

Managing Conflicts of Interest:

In instances where conflicts of interest are identified, the International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nexovation will implement the following steps:

  1. Transparency: Any disclosed conflicts will be clearly noted in the final published article to maintain transparency with readers.
  2. Editorial Reassignment: Manuscripts will be reassigned when necessary to ensure impartial evaluation.
  3. Ethical Oversight: The editorial board will review reported conflicts to ensure appropriate actions are taken.

Failure to disclose a conflict of interest may result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of a published article. The journal upholds strict ethical standards to protect the integrity and trustworthiness of clinical research.

By ensuring full and honest disclosure, the International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nexovation supports a responsible, ethical, and unbiased academic environment in obstetrics and gynaecology.
