Ethics Policy

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nexovation is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct at every stage of the publication process. All parties involved—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must adhere to the following ethical principles to ensure the credibility, transparency, and scholarly integrity of research in the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology.

1. Duties of Authors
Originality and Plagiarism:
Authors are required to submit only original manuscripts. Any content derived from the work or ideas of others must be clearly cited and appropriately acknowledged. All forms of plagiarism—including self-plagiarism—are considered serious ethical violations and are strictly prohibited.

Multiple Submissions:
Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal at the same time. Simultaneous submission to multiple publications constitutes unethical behavior and will result in rejection.

Accuracy and Data Integrity:
Authors must present accurate, well-documented, and reproducible data. All clinical findings, patient outcomes, statistical results, and methodological details must be transparently and honestly reported. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data will lead to immediate rejection or retraction.

Ethical Approval and Consent:
All research involving human participants must have prior approval from an appropriate ethics review board. Informed consent must be obtained from all subjects, and this must be stated explicitly in the manuscript.

Conflict of Interest:
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their findings. This includes affiliations with pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, or healthcare organizations.

2. Duties of Editors
Fair Evaluation:

Editors will evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit—such as originality, clarity, significance, and alignment with the journal’s scope—without discrimination based on the authors' personal characteristics, affiliations, or beliefs.

Confidentiality:
Editors are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any details to individuals other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial team as appropriate.

Conflict of Interest:
Editors must avoid handling manuscripts where a real or perceived conflict of interest exists. In such cases, the manuscript will be reassigned to another qualified editor to ensure a fair review process.

Ethical Oversight:
Editors are responsible for identifying, investigating, and responding to ethical concerns or allegations of misconduct. They must act promptly and transparently when any such issues arise.

3. Duties of Reviewers
Confidentiality:

Reviewers must treat all submissions as confidential documents. Manuscripts must not be shared or discussed with others without explicit permission from the editorial office.

Impartiality and Objectivity:
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations. Criticism should be limited to the content of the manuscript and should never target the author personally.

Acknowledgment of Sources:
Reviewers should identify relevant literature that has not been cited by the authors and must alert the editor to any substantial similarity or overlap with other published work.

Conflict of Interest:
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may impair their objectivity and, if necessary, decline to review the manuscript.

Conclusion
By following these ethical responsibilities, all stakeholders contribute to the scientific integrity and professional reputation of the International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nexovation. We thank all contributors for their commitment to ethical and responsible research and publishing.
